Barrrel-fermented in French oak, the wine is a marvellous combination of the voluptuousness of ripe viognier and the steeliness of cool-climate chardonnay. Soft peachy fruit aromas on the nose with some herbal notes, the palate is rich and intense but with a lovely balance and freshness. The alcohol is nicely counter-balanced with lively acidity.
